Yes, we did, an orange wine! 60% Marssanne, 40% Viognier. Appealing wine gets it’s lovely orange amber hue from its skin fermented white grapes. The natural fermentation process leaves us with a wine complex in tannin and flavorsome in so many ways. Always textural with a strong savory vein, the palate calls to mind hibiscus tea, preserved oranges (naranja) and strawberry rhubarb. Pairs well with wild pheasant cooked with foraged mushrooms.
