Our Alicante Bouschet is a Rhone style grape that is steeped in history and grown on-site. Alicante was the number one wine grape in California before prohibition and is unique because of its dark juice. Only 900 acres remain today in California.

2008 Pinot Grigio – Our latest vintage of Italy’s most popular white wine, our 2008 Pinot Grigio was bottled in January and is selling so fast that it will never be entered in competition. Sourced from the Shandon region east of Paso Robles, the grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in a stainless steel tank. It remained on the lees until January. This Pinot Grigio display apples and pears on the palate. It is a great summer sipper that should be chilled to about 45 degrees to bring out all of the flavors. $140 case/$13 bottle

2008 Viognier – Estate – This is our first vintage of our Estate Viognier and we are darn proud of it! It may be the best Viognier we have ever tasted! We harvested almost exactly 1 ton of fruit on August 25th and bottled 45 cases in February 2009. This Viognier bursts with tropical fruit and citrus with a long pleasing finish. This one will not last long! $184 case/$17 bottle

2007 Sequoia Sunset – Rose of Alicante Bouschet – Our 2005 Sequoia Sunset was a double award winner in State-wide competitions. This year’s effort is very similar with essences of strawberry and raspberry. Made the same way as white wine, it is whole cluster pressed with no skin contact time. Alicante is very unique in that it has “colored” juice so skin contact time is not necessary. It is then fermented and aged in stainless steel. This is a dry Rose entirely from our estate Alicante Bouschet. $119 case/$11 bottle

Only a handful of wineries in California make it. This wine received a Gold medal at the Central California Wine Competition and Bronze medal at the National Women’s Wine Competition. $216 case/$20 bottle
